About the Vestavia Belles

The Vestavia Belles have a long standing tradition in our beautiful city. They began as an organization in 1979, to serve as Vestavia Hills Junior Hostesses at civic events. Since that time, they have evolved into an active and integral part of the volunteer community in Vestavia. The Vestavia Belles are comprised of Sophomore, Junior and Senior girls who are residents of the City of Vestavia or attend Vestavia Hills High School, have
good character, a pleasant personality, and enjoy the civic responsibility of serving her city and local charities.

Vestavia Belle Appearances
Vestavia Belles have been recognized for their outstanding service to support the Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest children's program. The Belles serve the children's program during the summer months as guest readers and by registering residents for the summer reading program. They also serve as annual hostesses at the I Love America Night, Dogwood Festival activities, Wing Ding, Holiday Parade, Breakfast with Santa and City Tree Lighting. Special service projects such as the Food for Our Journey charity drive, Glenwood, Inc. and various Active Adults events hosted in Vestavia Hills are some of the other agencies Vestavia Belles support throughout the year.
